Returns

People Tree is now offering FREE returns through Royal Mail on all orders over £50.00 in the United Kingdom.

We are reviewing our returns policy and are accepting returns within 60 days.

If you are not satisfied with the fit, style or quality of a product when it arrives, you can return it within 60 days of receipt. We will give you back the amount you paid for the item, please note we cannot refund postage. We pride ourselves on offering friendly, personal customer service and aim to make returns as easy as possible.

Please note, as many of our products are made by hand, slight variations in size, colour or print are normal. We cannot offer exchanges and cannot accept returns on earrings, underwear, face masks or socks for reason of hygiene unless they are faulty. Under the distance selling regulation you have the right to cancel your purchase entirely if you let us know in writing within 7 days of receipt and return all the items, we will refund your total purchase amount.

Exclusions from our returns policy:
Gift cards, underwear* including pants (British English meaning = underwear, not US English = trousers) and socks, face masks, earrings, items which were not bought on the peopletree.co.uk website or any items where the seal or packaging is broken. (*Bras and our lace trim slips can be returned). 

How To Return

Wrap the unused item securely in its original package. Complete the Returns Form supplied with your delivery and enclose in the package. Can't find the Returns Form? You can download and print a new blank Returns Form here. We appreciate any feedback that you may have about a product, so please be sure to tell us why you are returning it.

For a limited time, all returns on orders in the United Kingdom are free. People Tree will provide you with a postage-paid label - see below. If you need any assistance, contact us by email at people@peopletree.co.uk.

Returns typically take 10 working days to be assessed once they reach our warehouse (unlike many brands, we don't throw away returned items, but instead check them carefully to ensure they're suitable for re-sale); once that process is complete you should receive an email confirming the details of any refund due. Refunds will be via the original means of payment, and may take a few days to appear on your account once sent.

UK Returns by Royal Mail

Your order should have included a returns form and tracked returns label. Alternatively, you can visit our Royal Mail returns portal and complete the details there to generate a returns label unique to your order.

Please remember to ask the Post Office for your proof of posting certificate and retain it and the reference from your returns label until you have received your refund. Without proof of a return posted we cannot process a refund if we do not receive the returned item. Please only send returns using the Royal Mail Tracked Returns labels. Do not send the to our offices as we cannot handle returns anywhere but our warehouse. We do not refund return postage, only the cost of our tracked returns service.

Returns of International Orders

If an item you have purchased is unsatisfactory, you can return it within 60 days of receipt for refund of the cost of your goods. Goods are returned to People Tree at your expense unless the goods are faulty. If you received a faulty item, please contact us directly by email and we will investigate and, if appropriate, arrange to refund your postage expenses.
